Terms of sale
The short version of every section comes first, in bold. The details follow.
1. What you're buying
Steel cattle guards and accessories, delivered — nothing else. Cattle Guard Supply sells and arranges delivery of livestock guard products. We do not provide installation, excavation, or construction services of any kind, and no part of any quoted price is for installation. Product specifications (dimensions, load ratings, finishes) are the manufacturer's.
2. Pricing and payment
The checkout total is the delivered total. Your order total includes the product and freight to the ZIP code you provide. We charge it once at checkout. We do not bill a second freight charge. Quotes are valid at the moment of checkout; published prices may change without notice for future orders (steel moves).
3. Made to order
Cancellations are free until fabrication starts. Orders enter fabrication typically within 1–2 business days. After fabrication begins, orders cannot be cancelled or returned for change of mind. See Returns & damage for the fair-play details.
4. Delivery requirements
You must provide unloading equipment. Delivery is curbside/gate-side by LTL carrier to the lower 48 United States. The buyer must provide a tractor, loader, forklift, or equivalent to unload. A delivery attempt refused for lack of unloading equipment may incur carrier redelivery or storage fees, which are the buyer's responsibility. Accurate delivery information (ZIP, access, contact phone) is the buyer's responsibility.
5. Freight damage and inspection
Note damage on the delivery receipt before signing. Notated freight damage is handled by us with the carrier at no cost to you. Damage discovered after a clean signature is handled case by case and may be limited by carrier rules.
6. Warranty
Manufacturer's warranty passes through to you. Products carry their manufacturer's warranty against defects in materials and workmanship. We facilitate all warranty claims. Load ratings describe the product as manufactured; correct installation and site conditions are the buyer's responsibility.
7. Use of information on this site
Guides are information, not engineering or legal advice. Installation guides, foundation drawings, sizing help, and summaries of state law (including Texas Agriculture Code §143.003) are provided for general information. Consult your county, a licensed engineer, or an attorney where your project requires it.
8. The boring but necessary part
These terms are governed by the laws of the seller's state of organization. If any provision is unenforceable, the rest stand. Our liability for any claim is limited to the amount you paid for the product at issue.
