Returns, cancellations & damage — in plain English

Cattle guards are built to order — steel gets cut with your name on it. That shapes what's fair for both of us, so here it is without the legalese wall.

Before fabrication starts

Cancel for any reason, full refund, no restocking nonsense. Fabrication typically starts within 1–2 business days of your order — call fast if you're changing your mind: (800) 555-0143.

After fabrication starts

The guard is being built for you, and made-to-order steel can't go back on a shelf. Once it's in fabrication we can't offer a change-of-mind refund. If you ordered the wrong size or rating, call us anyway — if the factory hasn't cut yet, we'll move heaven and earth; if it has, we'll tell you that straight too.

Freight damage — our fight, not yours

Before you sign the delivery receipt, walk around the guard. Bent rails, cracked welds, gouged coating: write it on the receipt, take two photos, call us. We file and fight the carrier claim, and we make you whole — repair, replacement part, or replacement guard, depending on what happened. What we need from you is only the note on the receipt; signing clean makes the claim nearly impossible for anyone.

Delivery day — and what a missed delivery costs

The carrier calls ahead to set a delivery window; you (or someone you trust) need to be there with a tractor, loader, or forklift, because the driver cannot unload 1,000–1,800 lb of steel. If the truck arrives in the agreed window and can't deliver — no equipment on site, no one there, a locked gate — the carrier charges a redelivery fee, and storage can start after that. Those fees aren't ours and we don't mark them up, but we do have to pass them through at cost; we'll tell you the exact number before any second attempt is scheduled. One five-minute walkthrough on the phone when you order prevents all of it — that's why we ask about your equipment before checkout, not after.

Factory defects

Wrong size shipped, weld failures under normal use, rating mislabeled — that's on us and the factory, and we make it right at no cost to you. Photos plus a phone call start it.
